ABOUT MODELING
When people think of modeling, they immediately think of the glamour, the runways, and sex appeal.  Well, there is that.  But, there is a lot more. Models of all shapes, sizes and attitudes are used to achieve a variety of effects, sometimes almost like an actor in a scene on a location.  Some models are known for close-ups of hands, or their face, or the way their eyes look.

For a person aspiring to do some modeling, remember this: NEVER try to look like someone else.  Be yourself. Trust yourself. You'll find your own niche. Trying to look like someone else is, well, just copycatting.

When you complete an information form on this Web site (or maybe just sends an email asking for a chance), I do an introductory shoot, at my expense, to see how you look in photos.  I try a full range of poses and settings.  A model release must be signed even for an introductory shoot, because even that first shoot might yield a marketable image.  And that has happened. You must be 18 or older to sign your own model release. Under 18, a parent or guardian must also sign with you.

If you are under 16, an introductory shoot is completely different -- and parents are required to sign a model release until you are 18 or older.

To complete a model information form, click here.  Fill in the form and click on "Submit" to send the completed form to me. There are places on the form to put notes and comments if you need to.
